Update Covid-19
Welcome Back to Dance !
- Classes will begin in person, however, we reserve the right to have classes on Zoom if health conditions become in jeopardy due to the Pandemic.
- Class sizes are limited, however, if a class has less than 8 dancers we reserve the right to cancel the class or combine it with another existing class.
- Class times have been reduced so that we can clean and disinfect equipment between classes.
- Due to safety health reasons Parents are not allowed to wait in the studio for the students. Please drop them off and pick them up on time.
- All Classes are Canceled for Inclement Weather. We follow Montgomery County when they close Schools and Activities. Please follow your news, look for our emails and texts, and notices on our website balletelite.org . In that case, we may switch to a Zoom Class when possible or arrange for a make up class.
Registration fee of $115.00, pays for school insurance and cleaning supplies, we will forward all other information that will be needed for the dance school year.
Due to Covid-19 all fees are still reduced.
All other Registration and business may be handled in person on 9/18/21 at United Methodist Church at Wesley 5312 Connecticut Ave, NW Washington DC, From 12:30 to 2:30 only.
Parents from Parent Association will assist you. You may purchase Leotards for Girls, in Lemon Chiffon, Limette, Pretty Pansy, and Strawberry Classes at the in person Registration.
All leotards for Girls will be on Sale at the School and NOT AT FOOTLIGHTS.
All dance shoes, tights, etc are available at Footlights Dance Boutique in Downtown Silver Spring, MD. Please tell them that Ms. Welters is your teacher.
Some classes are at the church and some are at Chevy Chase Community Center, please check your Class Sheet for locations.
Our Plan is to have a Spring Concert in mid June... more details to follow.
Major Fund Raising Events are Planned for much needed studio equipment, Teacher Workshops and Master Classes, Scholarship Assistance for families In need, and the general Rebuilding for our school and community.

All Staff is Vaccinated against Covid-19. Rigid cleaning and spacing protocols are followed. Mask required for all dancers, and staff.
All dancers must come dressed for class and put clothes on over dance uniforms after class. BRING WATER, BRING A YOGA MAT, arrive to class on time, and pick up must be no later than 10 minutes after class is over.
