Marc began his dance training at the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts in, Washington, DC under the direction of Lynn B. Welters. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ballet Performance from the University of the Arts. Mr. Spaulding’s versatility and excellent training foundation have afforded him the opportunity to travel the world as a performer, instructor, and choreographer. His more noteworthy performance credits include: “California Soul” Apple Inc. Industrial, Dancing with the Stars-Macy’s Stars of Dance Series, Endless Shock-Japanese Musical Series, Dreamgirls 1st National Tour, Westside Story International Tour, Broadway revival of Equus, Philadanco-Philadelphia Dance Company, Donald Byrd/The Group, feature film Hairspray, NBC Today’s Show, and Saturday Night Live. As an Instructor and choreographer Mr. Spaulding has worked with: The Jikei Group of Colleges in Japan, Dance Master’s of America, Collage Dance Collective, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, University of the Arts, The Rock Ballet School, Broadway Connection, Long Island University, International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference, and is a current faculty member at Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio and a Adjunct Professor of Dance at AMDA College & Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA.
